Personality disorders such as borderline, narcissistic, and schizoid may be present if the person has a rigid and unhealthy thinking pattern, functioning, or behavior. They may have trouble perceiving and relating to situations and people. These difficulties can cause significant problems and limitations in relationships, social activities, work, and school. Gestalt psychotherapy works well with these disorders.
Addiction or addictive behavior is a frightening and distressful problem for the client and their families. I believe that addictive behavior is a SYMPTOM of some other underlying issue. Traditional counseling often ignores the underlying issue. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger with addictions. I will guide you to understand what it is in your life that is preventing you from not using.
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. I can help you recover the motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.
I do my thing. You do your thing.
I am not in this world to live up to your expectations.
You are not in this world to live up to mine.
You are You. I am I.
If by chance we find each other, it’s beautiful.
If not, it can’t be helped.
"But the question's still what are we doin' here?
I don't think the answer's close at hand."
